How can I customize the GIS layers and symbology for my view?

In your GIS Viewer, you can browse to the right to edit the layers section. Each layer contains options which allow layer visibility, advanced filtering as well as an Edit Layer Style feature that has an array of options in customizing the layer.

How can I create a feature on the GIS map?

In your GIS Viewer, select the Create Feature drop-down. From there, choose which layer you would like to create the new asset on. You can click to start drawing your new feature or to create a point on the map. When you are done with the feature, double click to stop.

How can I link a new feature to my AM inventory?

In your GIS Viewer, select Edit Feature Attribute from the top menu then click on the feature you want to link. You must have linking set up on a specific attribute between AM and GIS. If you are unsure whether this has been done, contact CityWide support for more information. Once the feature attributes window opens, type the corresponding ID into appropriate field and hit apply. The system will take approximately 24 hours to update. Once the asset is linked, you can click on the feature in GIS and the AM_ASSET field will display the corresponding asset ID.

How can I change or move a feature on the GIS map?

In your GIS Viewer, select Modify Feature or Move Feature from the top menu then click on a feature. Under modify, you can drag and drop a specific part of the feature to the desired location. Under move, you can drag and drop the entire feature to the desired location.

How can I find a specific address on the map?

In your GIS Viewer, type the address in the search bar. Upon hitting enter, the map will pan to the specific location.
