Upload Center: Upload Types

Overview

The Upload Center generates column headers for a template to be filled out in a worksheet (ie. Excel or Google Sheets). Each Citywide module has various upload types to choose from. Some templates, such as the Asset Sync, can be customized but others require a specific set of column header fields to be completed within the application. The template must be exported and then copied back into the system exactly as is.

Assets

Upload Type	Description	Customize
Additions	Complete additions/betterments in bulk.
ARO Additions	Complete additions/betterments in bulk for assets flagged with an asset retirement obligation (ARO).
ARO Identification	Bulk import valuation details including general ledger codes for assets that have been identified as requiring an ARO. *Note*: In the upload process for this template, there is NO approve/reject step. Changes are applied immediately once the upload has been submitted.	Yes
ARO/ARC Writedowns	Complete ARO or ARC writedown adjustments in bulk for assets with an asset retirement obligation completed on them.
Asset Sync	Add or modify information in bulk, such as name, replacement cost, condition assessments, etc. *Note*: In the upload process for this template, there is NO approve/reject step. Changes are applied immediately once the upload has been submitted.	Yes
Asset Usages	Attach current mileage reading and date by Asset ID and include Import ID as needed for multiple assets.	Yes
Fuel & Costs	Attach fuel units, costs, and readings to multiple assets.

New Acquisitions - Non PSAB	Bulk import multiple new assets as excluded from PSAB reporting. When using this template, the in-service date, historical cost, and/or estimated useful life fields if unknown can be left blank. These assets will be excluded from financial reporting.	Yes

Profile Sync	Add or modify information collected within a profile.	Yes
